Burger Trentino with Asiago DOP Stagionato

1 burger bun
1 hamburger
Asiago DOP Stagionato
2/3 bacon sliced
1 tomato
1 red onion
Salad
Butter

Salt

Explosion of flavor in every bite

In a pan, finely chop some onions and sauté them with a knob of butter for about 30 minutes. Cover the pan with a lid, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden and caramelized.
In the main time, slice the aged Asiago DOP, cut the bread, wash and dry the salad, and slice the tomatoes and setting them aside.
In another pan, fry the bacon on both sides for about 20 seconds, or until golden and crispy. In the same pan, cook the burger patties, grilling each side for about 2 minutes.
Now, it’s time to assemble the burger. Place the bottom half of the bread on a plate, then layer the ingredients in this order: burger patty, sliced tomatoes, salad, caramelized onions, and finally, the sliced aged Asiago on top. Close the sandwich with the top half of the bread.
